The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan has invited applications from local ICT small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the region that are developing digital technology overseas, and a proposal from Blue Planet Sensing Ltd. (Iwafizawa City, Hokkaido) has been selected for the 2024 regional framework of the ‘Overseas Development Support Project for Secure and Reliable Digital Infrastructure’. The project is a microsatellite sharing network.
